<p>JOB SUMMARY:</p> <p>The purpose of this position is to work behind the bar to facilitate the smooth flow of service to customers by the Bartender/Beverage Server. Performs the service of replenishing stock and all required cleaning.</p> <p>KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Checks and maintains the required par stock on the assigned station. </li><li>Obtains replacement stock from the warehouse inventory in accordance with established procedures. </li><li>Maintains cleanliness and organization of assigned work area. </li><li>Assists the Bartender in providing maximum efficiency and service levels by retrieving guests' special requests, and during busy times icing drink glasses, and (depending on the assigned station) pouring drinks. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent preferred </li><li>No previous experience required </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Fluent and literate in English </li><li>Must be 21 years of age. </li><li>Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business </li><li>Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Harrah's Resort Southern California and encourages others to do the same. </li><li>Adheres to all regulatory, company, and department policies and procedures </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:</p> <ul> <li>Mobility to constantly move about the property </li><li>Ability to bend, reach, squat, and climb stairs </li><li>Ability to move and carry large, heavy objects weighing up to 90 pounds (keg weight). </li><li>Ability to use repetitive hand motion, holding, grasping </li><li>Able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, bright lights </li><li>Able to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment </li></ul>
