<p>Job Posting End Date:</p> <p>03-05-2026</p> <p>Worker Sub-Type:</p> <p>Regular</p> <p>Scheduled Weekly Hours:</p> <p>40</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>City County IT Commission (CCITC) is looking for an AV Specialist to join our Infrastructure Team. This is a great opportunity for someone in their IT or AV career who wants hands-on experience working with conference room technology, collaboration platforms, low-voltage systems, and security cameras in real-world, enterprise environments.</p> <p>You will help support AV systems across meeting rooms, courtrooms, correctional facilities, forensic centers, and healthcare-related spaces. You will work alongside infrastructure staff while learning how these systems are designed, supported, and improved over time.</p> <p>If you like working with technology, solving problems, and helping people have smoother meetings and better collaboration experiences, this role is a great fit.</p> <p>Salary Range: $65,748 - $72,571 (Based on qualifications and experience the position may be filled as an AV Analyst with a salary range of $82,784-$86,964)</p> <p>What You'll Be Doing</p> <ul> <li>Supporting and maintaining conference room AV systems (mics, cameras, displays, codecs, room controls) </li><li>Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting AV equipment and peripherals </li><li>Assisting with low-voltage cabling related to AV, collaboration systems, and cameras </li><li>Supporting Webex technologies including Webex Meetings, Webex Room devices, and Webex Calling </li><li>Helping support interior and exterior security camera systems </li><li>Responding to AV issues during meetings and helping keep systems running smoothly </li><li>Writing documentation, diagrams, and basic user guides </li><li>Providing friendly support and basic training to end users </li><li>Working with vendors and staff during installs or service work </li><li>Learning enterprise AV standards, troubleshooting techniques, and best practices </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For</p> <ul> <li>1-3 years of experience in AV, IT support, low-voltage, or a related technical field </li><li>Familiarity with tools like Webex, Microsoft Teams, and similar platforms </li><li>A basic understanding of AV gear (microphones, cameras, displays, codecs) </li><li>Interest in low-voltage systems, AV controls, and security technologies </li><li>Strong troubleshooting skills and a good customer-service mindset </li><li>Comfortable working on a team and asking questions when needed </li><li>Willingness to learn and grow into more advanced AV or infrastructure roles </li></ul> <p>(Degree or related coursework in IT, electronics, or engineering is a plus - but not required.)</p> <p>Why CCITC</p> <ul> <li>You'll support technology that directly serves your local community </li><li>Strong emphasis on work-life balance </li><li>Stable, full-time role with room to grow </li><li>Supportive team that values learning and collaboration </li><li>Clear path to advance into higher-level AV or infrastructure roles </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <p>Moderate Physical Requirements - Job requires a combination of desk work and some physical activity.</p> <p>All physical requirements are described with the intent to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
