<p>SUMMARY</p> <p>We are currently seeking a Staff Nurse to join our Allergy Service team - the main clinic is located in the Clinic and</p> <p>Specialty Center in downtown Minneapolis. This role may require metro travel to provide coverage at North Loop,</p> <p>Richfield, and Golden Valley clinics - and future expansion allergy clinics. This position is a part-time, day shift position</p> <p>(0.9 FTE: 9 shifts/ pay period, 8-hour shifts).</p> <ul> <li>This position is currently Monday-Friday day hours but may expand to include evenings and weekends as we grow. </li></ul> <p>A sign-on bonus is available for eligible external candidates (current employees and former employees returning to HHS</p> <p>within one year are ineligible).</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>Within the context of the Hennepin Healthcare System Relationship-Based Care practice model, and under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care by:</p> <ul> <li>Protecting, promoting wellness and optimizing health </li><li>Triaging patients by assessing severity of symptoms and referral to appropriate setting or level of care </li><li>Alleviating suffering through the treatment of the human response </li><li>Partnering with the patient, their family and significant others </li><li>Documenting interventions and an individualized plan of care </li><li>Educating patient on their disease process </li><li>Assuring continuity of care </li><li>Educating patient and family in preventative care which promotes health and well being </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Graduation from an accredited school of nursing </li><li>Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Minnesota </li><li>One year of Allergy experience </li><li>Valid Driver's License and availability of an insured vehicle required </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Certification in area of clinical specialty</p> </li><li> <p>EPIC experience</p> </li><li> <p>Allergy shot lab experience</p> </li><li> <p>BSN Preferred. Bachelor of Nursing degree is strongly encouraged. Advancement in academic education will be discussed as part of individual professional development during the annual performance review.</p> </li></ul>
