<p>SUMMARY:</p> <p>The Inventory Control Lead role is crucial for efficient and effective management of United Tote's supply chain operations.</p> <p>If you have a keen eye for detail, analytical prowess, and exceptional communication skills to forge strong partnerships with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams, this is the perfect opportunity for you.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Develop, implement and manage policies and procedures related to purchasing and inventory control of United Tote inventory, within established Churchill Downs Inc. guidelines, with a goal to maximize efficiency and optimize the workflow. </li><li>Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other internal / external partners to ensure a reliable and efficient supply chain operations. </li><li>Monitor inventory levels and track inventory movement to identify potential discrepancies, variances or issues. </li><li>Analyze inventory data and generate reports to provide insights and recommendations to Management on inventory control strategies and purchasing decisions. </li><li>Implement and manage day-to-day operation of Asset Panda inventory tracking application. </li><li>Manage regular cycle count program , initiate recounts when needed, and monitor the hardware inventory across customer's sites. </li><li>Utilize, own and understand processes as they pertain to financial month-end activies. </li><li>Identify end of life equipment and collaborate with cross functional teams to determine replacements and process for eliminating the EOL equipment from the Field Operations. </li><li>Participate in various special events as business dictates. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (preferred), Supply Chain Management or related field or combination of work experience. </li><li>3-5 years of inventory control, warehouse and distribution experience. </li><li>Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to effectively analyze inventory data and identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. </li><li>Ability to work independently and make informed decisions, while also collaborating effectively as part of a team. </li><li>Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills to effectively prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. </li><li>Proficient in MS Office tools and inventory management software (Asset Panda knowledge a plus) </li><li>Ability to apply and maintain any required regulatory license(s) </li></ul> <p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>None</p> <p>WORK ENVIRONMENT:</p> <p>Warehouse environment. Comfort working on your feet with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and dust while working around moving equipment.</p> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</p> <p>The following physical and mental demands are representative of those that an employee must meet to perform the essential functions of this job successfully.
