<p>Description</p> <p>Job Summary:The Production Technician Level 1 at PowerShades is an entry-level role responsible for assisting in the processing, assembly, testing, and packaging of motorized shading systems. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that our products meet quality and performance standards. The technician will work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where attention to detail and a commitment to excellence are essential.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Processing, Assembly and Manufacturing:</p> <ul> <li>Process materials and Assemble components for shading systems according to standard operating procedures (SOPs). </li><li>Operate basic hand tools and equipment to complete tasks efficiently. </li><li>Follow work orders and production schedules to meet daily output goals. </li></ul> <p>Testing and Quality Control:</p> <ul> <li>Perform functional testing of finished products to ensure they meet quality and performance standards. </li><li>Identify and report defects or discrepancies in materials or workmanship. </li></ul> <p>Packaging and Shipping Preparation:</p> <ul> <li>Package finished products securely for shipment. </li><li>Label products accurately according to customer orders and specifications. </li></ul> <p>Safety and Compliance:</p> <ul> <li>Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment. </li><li>Maintain a clean and organized workspace to support efficient operations. </li></ul> <p>Documentation and Reporting:</p> <ul> <li>Complete production logs and quality assurance checklists accurately. </li><li>Communicate any production issues or delays to the Production Supervisor. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Education: High school diploma or GED required. </li><li>Experience: No prior experience required; manufacturing or assembly experience is a plus. </li><li>Skills: </li><li>Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools. </li><li>Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. </li><li>Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. </li><li>Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. </li><li>Occasionally required to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds. </li><li>Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Manufacturing floor environment with occasional exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures. </li><li>Personal protective equipment (PPE) provided and required in designated areas. </li></ul>
