<p>SUMMARY:</p> <p>Under general supervision of the Director of Clinical Innovation, is responsible for the overall operations of the Bradley Learning Exchange (BLE) at Bradely Hospital within Brown University Health and within the community at large. Coordinates administrative functions such as programmatic planning and implementation, personnel and human resources, budget preparation and analyses, statistical and financial reporting, website and other information technology systems, development and monitoring of federal, state, and philanthropic grants. The core Success Factors include:</p> <p>Instill Trust and Value Differences</p> <p>Patient and Community Focus and Collaborate</p> <p>In addition, our leaders will demonstrate an aptitude for:</p> <p>Ensure Accountability and Build Effective Teams</p> <p>Drive Vision and Purpose and Optimize Work Processes</p> <p>By applying core and leadership competencies, leaders help Brown University Health achieve its strategic goals.</p> <p>In collaboration with the Behavioral Health Workforce and Professional Development Manager, coordinates the strategic planning, development and implementation of BLE goals, timelines, reporting, and activities.</p> <p>Supervises the work and functions of the BLE Administrative Supervisor.</p> <p>Establishes and maintains effective relationships with community partners and stakeholders, including but not limited to the healthcare community at large, Rhode Island Department of Health, Rhode Island Department of Education, Rhode Island Department of Children, Youth and Families, parent groups, health centers, hospitals, advocacy organizations, primary care providers, behavioral health providers, and city departments/state agencies/federal agencies. Regularly participates in meetings with representatives of these organizations to enhance communication and maintain awareness of evolving needs.</p> <p>Actively participates in all aspects of the grant-writing process, from strategic planning to proposal development to cultivating relationships and acknowledgment. Under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Innovation and in collaboration with the Behavioral Health Workforce and Professional Development Manager, assumes the lead role in the development, implementation, and management of department grants.</p> <p>Coordinates BLE grant management through the Brown Health Center for Clinical Research Management.</p> <p>Provides professional development presentations in accordance with instructor certifications and areas of expertise.</p> <p>Works with the internal media and marketing resources to identify and maintain media relationships and opportunities.</p> <p>Represents the Bradley Learning Exchange and Bradley Hospital and communicates its mission to appropriate audiences and the larger community.</p> <p>Participates in policy development and implementation.</p> <p>Maintains quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control in accordance with established policies, procedures, and objectives</p> <p>Performs other duties as assigned.</p> <p>BASIC KNOWLEDGE:</p> <p>Master's degree in Public Administration, Public Health or a related area and a minimum of five years in behavioral or educational management. Strong interpersonal, organizational, proofreading and research skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
