<p>responsibilities and ethical standards.</p> <p>OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED</p> <ul> <li>Incumbent will need to demonstrate appropriate flexibility and be prepared to adjust responsibilities on an "as needed" basis in response to changing workplace priorities and constituency demands. </li></ul> <p>The incumbent works in a highly visible role on campus within a diverse campus community. The incumbent is an advocate for the department and the division, and must be able to clearly articulate a vision that will guide its operations and lead it to excellence. Some work on the weekends and evenings is required (holidays may be included). Supervision of some events is required throughout the year. Extended periods of the day may be spent in an office, working at a desk and on a computer or in meetings. Must be able to competently interact with a culturally and ethnically diverse population of students, faculty, and staff.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>A Master's degree in higher education, student affairs, counseling, social work, or related field; OR 4 years of full-time progressively responsible experience in basic needs, social services, community development, student affairs, higher education, student services, wellness programs, with at least two years of experience in a coordinator or manager role in Basic Needs.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Significant experience in a higher education setting. </li><li>Experience with basic needs work within the CSU system and California </li></ul> <p>Pre-Employment Requirements</p> <p>This position requires the successful completion of a background check.</p> <p>Eligibility to Work</p> <p>Applicants must be able to provide proof of US Citizenship or authorization to work in the United States, within three business days from their date of hire.</p> <p>Benefits</p> <p>Threaded through our Total Compensation package is a commitment to Bridging Life's Transitions.
