<p>The Department of Engineering Technology at Northwestern State University of Louisiana invites applications for an Adjunct Instructor to teach a course in Welding Technology during the Spring 2026 semester. The successful candidate will deliver both theoretical instruction and hands-on laboratory guidance to undergraduate students pursuing careers in Associate of Science in Engineering Technology with Advanced Manufacturing Concentration. The course focuses on "An introduction to the principles of shielded metal arc welding and cutting with a plasma torch and oxyfuels. Safe handling and use of the welding equipment, consumables, and safety gears. Basic hands-on practices on various types of welding joints using arc welding cutting mild steel with Plasma torch and Oxyfuel."
