<p>Accounting Associate</p> <p>About the Position</p> <p>This position is responsible for assisting the Corporate Director of Finance in all aspects of financial operations. The Accounting Associate will initiate, verify, and process financial transactions, review, verify and reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies pertinent to billing and purchasing, and assist in forecasting and budgeting.</p> <p>Duties consist of:</p> <p>Revenue Cycle/Accounts Receivable:</p> <ul> <li></li><li>Posting payments to patient accounts, make bank deposits and posting and balancing to General Ledger </li><li>Investigating and resolving unpaid medical claims, including speaking with insurance carriers and patients </li><li>Account reconciliation </li></ul> <p>Purchasing/Accounts Payable:</p> <ul> <li></li><li>Establish vendor relationships and negotiate contract terms and pricing </li><li>Place orders and verify receipt of orders </li><li>Review accuracy of invoices and enter into Accounts Payable system </li><li>Audit and process credit card transactions </li><li>Process checks runs and, mail checks, and file backup appropriately </li><li>Process and reconcile payments to 1099 vendors </li></ul> <p>Other Business Duties</p> <ul> <li></li><li>General ledger account reconciliation </li><li>Corporate Accounting analyses </li><li>Internal compliance review </li><li>Process bi-weekly payroll </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business </li><li>1+ year direct experience </li><li>Knowledge with healthcare revenue cycle preferred </li><li>Good Microsoft Office skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Hybrid remote schedule </li><li>Competitive pay </li><li>Comprehensive benefits package including: Health, Dental, Vision, and 100% company paid life/AD&D insurance and long-term disability </li><li>401k match </li><li>PTO + company paid holidays </li></ul> <p>About Neurocare:</p> <p>Neurocare, Inc., is the largest employer of Sleep Technologists in the New England area for over 25 years.
