<p>The Department of Behavioral and Social Sciences at Lee University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in Psychology to begin August 2026.</p> <p>We seek a dynamic and collegial scholar-teacher who will contribute to the undergraduate psychology program. The ideal candidate will hold a PhD in Experimental Psychology, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, or a closely related field.</p> <p>Primary teaching responsibilities include teaching undergraduate, on-campus courses such as Research Methods and Statistics; Learning and Cognition; Physiological Psychology; and Psychology of Motivation. Additional responsibilities include academic advising, mentoring undergraduate research, departmental committee participation, scholarship, and university service.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>PhD in Psychology (Experimental or Cognitive preferred). ABD candidates nearing completion may be considered. PsyD considered. </li><li>Demonstrated ability for excellence in undergraduate teaching. </li><li>Evidence of scholarly engagement and contributions to the discipline through research, publication, or professional activity. </li><li>Commitment to student advising, mentorship, and collaborative departmental service. </li><li>A commitment to integrating faith and learning within a Christ-centered academic environment. </li></ul> <p>Faith Statement and Mission Fit</p> <p>Lee University is a Christian institution affiliated with the Church of God (Cleveland, Tennessee). Faculty are expected to embrace the university's mission of providing a Christ-centered liberal arts education and to demonstrate a personal commitment to Christian faith and lifestyle consistent with the institution's values.
