Performs a variety of activities involved in the set up for meals, maintaining proper sanitary conditions in preparation and serving areas. Assists the Site Manager in the tracking of meals and food records through operating the cash register and food service computer.</p> <p>Minimum qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Physical ability to handle large quantities of food </li><li>Freedom from contagious disease </li><li>A combination of education and experience that may be accepted as equivalent by the Food Service Department </li><li>Previous experience in the preparation, handling and servicing of large quantities of food is desirable </li><li>Knowledge of the methods of preparing, cooking and serving foods in large quantities </li><li>Knowledge of simple record keeping and accounting </li><li>Knowledge of cleaning methods </li><li>Knowledge of kitchen utensils and their uses </li><li>Ability to get along with and to handle children </li><li>Ability to maintain harmonious relations with co-workers and other school personnel </li><li>Ability to read and write and to make simple arithmetic calculations </li><li>Basic computer operations </li></ul> <p>Contact Information:</p> <p>If you have any questions, please contact Human Resources at 218-336-8722 or email noncerthr@isd709.o</p>
