<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Summary:</p> <p>Cayuga Community College seeks a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as a full-time, tenure-track faculty member in Electrical and Electronics Technologies. The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for teaching, a strong background in electrical and electronics technologies, and a commitment to student success. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the education and training of students of a variety of ages and backgrounds while meeting vital workforce needs.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Plan, develop, and deliver high-quality courses in electrical and electronics technologies, ensuring alignment with program goals and industry standards.</p> <ul> <li>Facilitate engaging and interactive classroom and laboratory sessions to enhance students' theoretical and practical understanding of electrical systems and technologies. </li><li>Provide mentorship and academic support to students, promoting their success in the program. </li><li>Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in electrical technology, integrating relevant updates into the curriculum. </li><li>Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve the curriculum, assessment methods, and instructional materials. </li><li>Participate in meetings and activities with college colleagues and industry partners. </li><li>Contribute to the recruitment, retention and overall success of our students. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree or higher in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or closely related field. </li><li>Instructor or Classroom experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>The 2026-27 Instructor rank salary is $71,481.</p> <p>Cayuga offers excellent benefits and retirement options, including December break time off and Spring break time off.</p> <p>Application Instructions:</p> <p>To be considered for this position, please submit resume, transcripts and cover letter at the time of application.</p> <p>A professional reference check will be required prior to a formal offer of employment.
