<p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Materials Management Digital Transformation Manager leads the digital transformation of SIOP, planning, scheduling, and purchasing processes across a global multi-site ETO/CTO organization. The role bridges business process excellence and technology implementation, ensuring that ERP, Demand Planning, APS system (Advanced Planning and Scheduling), and procurement systems deliver measurable improvements in efficiency, visibility, and decision-making.</p> <p>This position partners closely with supply SIOP, supply chain, materials management, and operations leaders to translate business needs into digital solutions and to drive global adoption of best-in-class tools and practices.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ol> <li>Digital Transformation Leadership </li></ol> <ul> <li>Define and execute the digital roadmap for supply chain functions (SIOP, planning, scheduling, purchasing). </li><li>Translate business process requirements into functional IT solutions aligned with global strategy. </li><li>Partners in global rollout of digital initiatives ensuring standardization and scalability, from business side. </li><li>Partners in Managing cross-functional collaboration between IT, operations, engineering, and procurement teams. </li></ul> <ol start="2"> <li>Project Management </li></ol> <ul> <li>Partners leading multiple concurrent digitalization projects through full lifecycle - from concept to deployment and post-go-live optimization, from business side. </li><li>Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocations, from business side. </li><li>Manage risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations across global sites. </li><li>Track project KPIs (on-time delivery, ROI, adoption rate) and report progress to leadership. </li></ul> <ol start="3"> <li>Systems and Tools Implementation </li></ol> <ul> <li>Drive deployment and enhancement of ERP modules, SIOP / APS, supplier portals, and planning analytics tools. </li><li>Evaluate and integrate new technologies (AI-based planning, digital twins, RPA (robotic process automation), supplier collaboration platforms). </li><li>Ensure interoperability between systems (ERP, MES, engineering, Supplier collaboration). </li><li>Oversee data migration, testing, and system validation activities. </li></ul> <ol start="4"> <li>Business Process and Change Enablement </li></ol> <ul> <li>Work closely with Process Excellence and Materials Management teams to align technology with optimized business processes. </li><li>Lead change management efforts to ensure user adoption and long-term sustainability. </li><li>Develop training materials, system documentation, and user guides. </li><li>Facilitate workshops and training sessions for planners, buyers, and schedulers. </li></ul> <ol start="5"> <li>Data and Analytics </li></ol> <ul> <li>Establish data governance standards and ensure master data integrity across global sites. </li><li>Implement dashboards and analytics to measure process performance (planning accuracy, purchase order cycle time, supplier responsiveness). </li><li>Support predictive and prescriptive analytics capabilities for planning and procurement decisions. </li></ul> <ol start="6"> <li>Stakeholder Management </li></ol> <ul> <li>Coordinate global and regional IT stakeholders to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and cybersecurity standards. </li><li>Facilitate feedback loops between business users and technology providers for continuous improvement. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Education:</p> </li><li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).</p> </li><li> <p>Experience:</p> </li><li> <p>8+ years of experience in digital transformation within manufacturing or supply chain.</p> </li><li> <p>Hands-on experience with SIOP, ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor) and APS or planning tools.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong understanding of ETO/CTO manufacturing environments.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven track record of leading complex, multi-site IT projects as business partner / business project manager.</p> </li><li> <p>Skills:</p> </li><li> <p>Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum).</p> </li><li> <p>Strong knowledge of supply chain processes - materials planning, production scheduling, and purchasing (APICS certification).</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and cross-cultural collaboration skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Analytical mindset with focus on data-driven decision-making.</p> </li><li> <p>Change management and user adoption expertise</p> </li></ul> <p>Typical Technologies and Tools:</p> <ul> <li>ERP platforms (Oracle, Oracle Cloud) </li><li>Demand Planning, Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) systems </li><li>Supplier collaboration portals / eProcurement systems </li><li>Power BI, or similar analytics tools </li><li>Workflow automation </li></ul>
