<p>Duties</p> <p>Wilmington High School is currently seeking applications for an Industrial Arts teaching vacancy for the 2026-2027 school year. The candidate must have experience in home construction and carpentry. The primary teaching assignment is a home building project from start to finish. This construction course provides experience and activities designed around safety, power tools, and construction-related math. Emphasis will be placed on: footings and foundations, masonry, framing, sheathing, wiring, plumbing, roofing, and siding.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Previous experience and knowledge in home building - carpentry and other construction-related areas. Successful applicants should possess or be eligible for an appropriate Illinois Professional Educator License and/or a required Provisional License.</p> <p>Salary/Benefits</p> <p>As per negotiated contract.
