<p>Wor-Wic Community College continuously accepts applications to fill various part-time positions in our Adult Education program. These positions include instructors in specific teaching areas.</p> <p>We are currently filling vacancies for:</p> <ul> <li>Adult Basic Education Instructors </li><li>English as a Second Language (ESL) Instructors </li><li>GED Test Preparation Instructors </li><li>Adult Education Part-Time Intake and Assessment Assistant </li><li>Part-Time Adult Education Assistant Information Specialist </li></ul> <p>The following list is not intended as, nor should it be construed as, exhaustive of all responsibilities, skills or working conditions associated with these positions. Actual duties will vary based on the specific position or subject area, and may include any or all of the following:</p> <ul> <li>Teaching students in assigned subject area(s) with an emphasis on reasoning and problem solving in a hybrid learning environment </li><li>Guiding the student learning process toward the achievement of literacy goals established for the program </li><li>Administering standardized tests; practice tests; and/or career assessments </li><li>Assessing the accomplishments of students </li><li>Maintaining educational records </li><li>Providing special assistance such as participating in individualized education program meetings </li><li>Participating in a minimum of 10 hours of professional development </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li><li>Bachelor's degree required </li><li>Teaching positions require one year of teaching experience </li><li>Excellent organizational, human relations, record-keeping and computer skills </li><li>Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Word </li><li>Preference will be given to candidates with a master's degree and applicable adult education/workforce development experience </li></ul> <p>This is an applicant POOL. Applications will be reviewed, and positions will be filled based on program needs. This is not necessarily a job posting for a currently vacant position.
