<p>Senior Estimator</p> <p>LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Senior Estimator with at least 5 years of experience working in a similar role. This is a Temp to Perm opportunity within the Commercial Construction industry, located in Baltic, CT.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Produce detailed quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and project budgets for a wide range of commercial developments, including office, retail, healthcare, education, industrial, and multifamily projects </li><li>Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and supporting documents to develop accurate and well-supported estimates </li><li>Manage the estimating effort for multiple projects at once, ensuring precision, consistency, and on-time completion </li><li>Request, analyze, and level subcontractor and supplier pricing; prepare scope documentation and confirm full trade coverage </li><li>Partner with architects, engineers, and owners during preconstruction to deliver cost guidance, value engineering solutions, and constructability input </li><li>Build, maintain, and refine unit pricing libraries and historical cost data to support future estimates </li><li>Support the development of proposals, bid submissions, and presentation materials for both competitive bids and negotiated work </li><li>Review estimates prepared by junior team members, providing feedback, quality control, and ongoing mentorship </li><li>Participate in turnover meetings to ensure a smooth transition from preconstruction through project execution </li><li>Stay current on industry trends, construction methods, materials, and market conditions that influence pricing </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 5-10 years of estimating experience, preferably in construction </li></ul> <p>Work Site: Onsite</p> <p>Employment Type: Temp to Perm</p> <p>Salary: $35-44/hr</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled</p> <p>To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to https://www.lhh.com/us/en/candidate-privacy</p> <p>Pay Details: $35.00 to $44.00 per hour</p> <p>Search managed by: Patrick Garron</p> <p>Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
