<p>PRN Advanced Practice Provider - Neurohospitalist - Piedmont Columbus Regional</p> <p>Piedmont is recruiting for an APP to join our Neurohospitalist program at Piedmont Columbus Regioanl. This is a PRN 7-on-7-off position with no call responsibilities. You will work alongside physicians providing care to general neurology and stroke patients in an inpatient setting.</p> <p>In this role you will:</p> <ul> <li>Follow-up with current general neurology and stroke patients. </li><li>Triage new patients prior to being seen by doctor. </li><li>Take patient histories, conduct physical examinations and record data in patient's medical record. </li><li>Evaluate and treat patients to achieve optimal patient care. </li><li>Write progress notes; prepare patient work-ups and summaries noting pertinent positive and negative findings. </li><li>Develop plans of care that minimize complications and successfully troubleshoot problems when they arise.
