<p>Position Summary</p> <p>This position performs administrative policy functions and provides professional administrative support to the Office of the Secretary. This position also serves as programmatic support for key initiatives and as a liaison for the Secretary and executive leadership to the Governor's Office, department agency heads, legislators, external companies and organizations, and federal officials, and a variety of statewide boards and commissions. For more information, please view the complete position description.</p> <p>Salary Information</p> <p>Starting hourly rate for the Administrative Policy Advisor position (schedule/range 81-03) will be $35.00 per hour - $44.33 per hour ($72,800- $92,206 annually) depending on qualifications and experience. Pay for current state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan. All persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States, and to complete the required employment eligibility form.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimally qualified applicants will have experience with each of the following:</p> <ul> <li>Providing administrative support to executive level management (i.e., scheduling logistics, travel arrangements, processing expense reports, etc.). </li><li>Researching policies, laws, statutes, executive orders, etc. </li></ul> <p>In addition, well-qualified applicants will have experience with one or more of the following:</p> <ul> <li>Preparing memoranda and briefings for executive level management. </li><li>Working in the public sector. </li></ul> <p>How To Apply</p> <p>Apply online!
