<p>Kforce's client, a publicly traded growing company is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst in Princeton, NJ. The role is hybrid and will be 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.</p> <p>Summary: The candidate will be responsible for supporting the Senior Manager for all tax planning activities, including US federal and state income tax, transaction tax return support, cash tax optimization, credits and incentives, and transaction diligence. This company has great benefits, including a 15% target year-end bonus along with opportunity to advance!</p> <p>Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Senior Tax Analyst will calculate tax basis, 704(b) capital accounts, and transaction-related impacts while explaining the impacts for tax compliance </li><li>Preparation of memos and presentations to document diligence and transactions </li><li>Review of financial models, including cash taxes, partnership capital accounts, and credit and incentives related items </li><li>As a Senior Tax Analyst, you will assist with tax research for unique tax fact patterns </li><li>Collaborate closely with Accounting, Business Development, and Portfolio Finance to support transactions and ensure tax modeling accuracy </li><li>Drive process-change to optimize tax planning and enhance efficiency* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar </li><li>3+ years of federal and state tax compliance or planning for partnerships with a public accounting firm or large corporate tax department; Experience with private equity or real estate tax is a plus </li><li>Experience drafting memos and presentations </li><li>Partnership (Sub K) tax experience is a must </li><li>Desire to learn data translation using Power BI, Alteryx, and Excel </li><li>Strong analytical and Excel modeling skills, with proficiency in PowerPoint </li><li>Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and explain tax-related items to non-tax audiences </li><li>Industry experience in energy, private equity, or real estate is a plus </li></ul>
