You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with innovative and unconventional approaches to solve technical problems. </li><li>Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that integrate seamlessly with existing systems. </li><li>Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring all design constraints are met. </li><li>Gather, analyze, and synthesize data to develop visualizations and reports from large, diverse data sets. </li><li>Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data to enhance coding hygiene and system architecture. </li><li>Develop applications and services for both on-premise and cloud architectures. </li><li>Implement, deploy, and support enterprise software products and systems. </li><li>Participate in project planning sessions to analyze business requirements and propose effective solutions. </li><li>Foster a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 3+ years of applied experience. </li><li>Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Java, Spring Boot, Rest, Cloud. </li><li>Intermediate experience in developing multi-threaded applications. </li><li>Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability. </li><li>Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages. </li><li>Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle. </li><li>Solid understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security. </li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, AI, machine learning, mobile). </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in Java 8+, Spring Boot or Spring Framework, REST, TypeScript, React/Redux, HTML5, JavaScript, JDBC, JPA, MSSQL, Kubernetes (GKE or AWS), Linux (Ubuntu or CentOS). </li><li>Familiarity with modern front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, TypeScript). </li><li>Exposure to cloud technologies (e.g., GCP, Azure). </li><li>Experience with caching solutions (e.g., Hazelcast, Redis, Memcached, MongoDB). </li><li>Ability to work effectively in an Agile environment. </li><li>Experience in building and supporting capital markets applications in the financial services industry. </li><li>Additional desired experience: Java 21, Swift, C++, Eclipse, IntelliJ, VSCode, Xcode, Active Directory, LDAP, Ansible, Apache, Tomcat, Hibernate, Docker, MySQL, Jira, Git, Kafka, Agile/Scrum, Bitbucket, Confluence, Google Cloud or AWS certification. </li></ul>
