<p>Job Title</p> <p>Audio & Visual Technician</p> <p>Job Description Summary</p> <p>This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities and qualifications of the job. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as but not limited to; computers, phones, photocopiers, fi ling cabinets and fax machines. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 50 pounds.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Duties / Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Pay: $35.44hr. </li><li>Schedule: Monday-Friday (8:00am-5:00pm). </li><li>Responsible for meeting and greeting internal and external customers using in-house AV resources. </li><li>Setting up AV equipment per EMS application to include, but not limited to, laptop and resident PC projection systems, teleconferencing resources, video conferencing resources and supplying assistance for guest Wi-Fi to clients. </li><li>Ability to Troubleshoot and repair non-working integrated equipment internally first, then work with outside vendor if required. </li><li>Integration of kiosk media via network to installed DMP units within facility. </li><li>Assisting senior executives during annual company meetings with all audio & visual needs including but not limited to, audio, videoconferencing, troubleshooting company issued equipment, etc.. </li><li>Weekly preventive maintenance checks to in-house equipment. </li><li>Report to supervisor and reservations status of conference rooms usability if problems occur. </li><li>Track system failures and archive repair records. </li><li>Assist with other conference center functions such as furniture set ups and room reservations if required. </li><li>Establish outside resources for equipment and freelance personnel, when additional expertise and specialized equipment is requested. </li><li>Partner with internal IT department personnel and outside vendors to develop and implement plans for outdated AV equipment company wide based on technology roadmaps. </li><li>Maintain consistency across all sites for equipment, processes, and standards by working with Facility Managers and Techs. </li><li>Travel may be required. </li><li>Recommend and manage large scale implementation projects from the proposal stage to completion. </li><li>Maintain and order equipment supplies based on inventory needs i.e. cables, chargers, remotes, etc. within an established budget. </li><li>Configure PowerPoint presentations for proper aspect ratio and font display. </li><li>Create and update information on how to operate system controls as well as document standard operating procedures for training purposes. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 3-7 years' experience in event production, educational, hotel or TV studio environment. </li><li>CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) certificate preferred but not mandatory. </li><li>In depth knowledge of integrated AV systems including Crestron controllers, Extron switchers, Polycom, LED/LCD displays, video projectors, audio mixing consoles and PA systems. </li><li>Proficiency with current PC and Mac OS platforms. </li><li>Normal office working conditions. </li></ul> <p>Cushman & Wakefield also provides eligible employees with an opportunity to enroll in a variety of benefit programs, generally including health, vision, and dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, health savings accounts, retirement savings plans, life, and disability insurance programs, and paid and unpaid time away from work.
