<p>Make a difference every day at Amoskeag Health, where we believe strong healthcare begins with strong human connections!</p> <p>~ NEW Pay Rates! ~</p> <p>~ No inpatient care, prenatal care, evening or weekend hours! ~</p> <p>~ We are currently recruiting for two full-time Family Medicine Physician positions ~</p> <p>Who You Are:</p> <p>Amoskeag Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to provide high-quality, family-oriented outpatient care to patients across the life cycle. In this role, you will see patients independently as well as those referred by other physicians and mid-level providers, delivering comprehensive health exams, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, and ensuring appropriate follow-up.</p> <p>This position is ideally 40 hours per week, including 34 hours of direct patient care on-site and 6 hours for administrative duties, team meetings, and case conferencing.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Provide complete, comprehensive, family-oriented outpatient care throughout the life cycle, including health examinations, treatment, and follow-up on medical conditions. </li><li>Medically manage acute and chronic illness, develop a plan of care, coordinate care, and determine need for case conference. </li><li>Make appropriate referrals to internal disciplines of Amoskeag Health and/or external agencies, including sub-specialty and surgical evaluation, social services, nutrition, substance abuse, and mental health counseling. </li><li>Provide care for clients with acute illness, allowing for same-day appointments as necessary in collaboration with nursing staff. </li><li>Prescribe medications for treatment of medical conditions when indicated and provide appropriate follow-up with nursing staff assistance. </li><li>Provide clinical consultation to physicians and mid-level providers as needed. </li><li>Ensure accurate, timely, easily understood documentation in the client's electronic medical record. </li><li>Participate in an on-call system to provide client access to care (or maintain communication with other providers if part time and not taking call). </li><li>Attend mandatory safety-related and infection control in-services. </li><li>Assist with development of medical/clinical policies and protocols as needed. </li><li>Maintain sensitivity to cultural diversity of population served and age-related competence. </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring:</p> <ul> <li>License to practice medicine in the State of New Hampshire. </li><li>Board eligible or Board Certified in Family Practice. </li><li>Maintain Board Certification in Family Medicine. </li><li>American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification required - candidates without current certification will be required to complete an Amoskeag Health-provided AHA BLS class upon hire (must be maintained) </li></ul>
