Provide proper communication for customers as well as our outside sales staff for issues concerning quality, customer service and delivery schedules. </li><li>Manage shop schedule with intention of hitting all established target deadlines. Such as teardowns in two week turnaround and rebuild return ship dates. </li><li>Manage each job to maximize job efficiency and profit. </li><li>Contribute to operations strategic planning and implementation of any new actions concerning productivity, quality and customer service standards. </li><li>Schedule expenditures and manage operations budgets. </li><li>Manage process workflow in the shop. Provide any necessary solutions to problems affecting efficient workflow. </li><li>Maintain safe work environment by complying will all current standards provided by B&D Safety department. Establish any new safety guidelines necessary to ensure an ongoing injury free workplace. </li><li>Responsible for maintaining all established QC process and documentation. </li><li>Communicate all operating policies with team. </li><li>Manage proper shop staff levels and hours. </li><li>Recruit, interview and select new employees as needed per established guidelines. </li><li>Ensure necessary training is provided and documented. </li><li>Communicate job expectations for all of team. </li><li>Responsible for review and development of shop employees. </li><li>Responsible for vehicle management for shops. </li><li>Work closely with all of B&D management to ensure best outcome for our customers and employees. </li><li>Preform any other duties as required by supervisor. </li></ul> <p>Skills/Proficiencies required:</p> <ul> <li>Previous shop/production management experience. </li><li>Prefer experience with an ERP operating system. </li><li>Some Power Transmission and Bearing knowledge </li><li>Basic understanding of financial reporting. </li><li>Excellent writing and oral communication skills. </li><li>Strong organizational skills. </li><li>Decision making skills. </li><li>Deadline -Oriented. </li><li>Must be able to handle information of a confidential nature. </li><li>Must be self-motivated, flexible and adaptable to change. </li><li>Some travel required due to outside services we provide. </li><li>Available after hours.
