<p>EMH&T is currently seeking a Civil Engineer (EI) to join our Commercial Development team located in Columbus, OH.</p> <p>Our EIs work under the guidance of experienced Engineers and Project Managers who provide mentorship and support throughout your career development. Additionally, EMH&T offers a dedicated support team to train you on our drafting and design standards, ensuring you are well-prepared for success in this role.</p> <p>Our Commercial Development team typically works on projects that involve commercial site development design in industries including data centers, hospitals, manufacturing, etc.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop plan drawings and calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D for projects such as sanitary systems, stormwater management, roadway design. </li><li>Produce base maps for plan development, generate 3D surface models, corridors, profiles, and cross-sections, as well as perform drafting tasks. </li></ul> <p>Desired Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to effectively apply technical training and problem-solving skills to current assignments. </li><li>A self-starter that demonstrates dependability and consistent work effort. </li><li>Effective written and oral communication skills and the ability to express ideas clearly. </li><li>Ability to work independently but also enjoys collaborating with team members in a supportive and cooperative environment. </li><li>Excellent planning and organization skills with an eye for detail. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. </li><li>0 - 4 years experience. </li><li>Work experience, including internships or co-op experiences in civil, construction, or a related area and exposure to engineering consulting firm environment, preferred. </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <p>EMH&T offers a generous benefit package to all full-time employees that includes medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, medical & dependent care FSAs, paid vacation, sick and personal leaves, paid community service time off, paid parental leave, 401(k) with match, company paid life insurance, a wellness reimbursement, an employee recognition program, an employee assistance program that includes legal and identify theft services.
