<p>Initiates the mortgage process for potential clients, preparing, analyzing, and verifying mortgage loan applications for the purchase or refinance of real estate. Identifies and attracts new clients by networking with real estate agents, financial advisors, and past clients to generate referrals.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p> <ul> <li>Establish and maintain a network of business relationships, consisting of real estate professionals, builders, etc. </li><li>Meet with potential borrowers regarding their mortgage needs. </li><li>Present bank's mortgage products and services that meet borrower's financial goals. </li><li>Complete the borrower's application and analyze the borrowers financial and credit data. </li><li>Lock rate per company and regulatory guidelines. </li><li>Prepare or request all applicable loan documentation from the appropriate party or department. </li><li>Work with Centralized Processing Department to ensure attorney and appraisal work is ordered and all documentation is handled professionally and efficiently. </li><li>Maintain communication with the borrower regarding the loan status. </li><li>Maintain thorough knowledge of lending programs, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. </li><li>Service all in-house and secondary market loans in your portfolio. (all requests including, escrows, payments, payoffs, etc.) </li><li>Interact with clients and internal partners daily to answer questions, solve problems, and deliver the highest-level of customer service. </li><li>Assist clients with monthly billing and collections cycle. </li><li>Monitor the status of delinquent payments and follow-up with clients on an ongoing basis, while also working with Debt Management on Collections. </li><li>Work directly with other departments to resolve any issues or concerns with any customer in your portfolio. </li></ul> <p>Other Duties</p> <ul> <li>Look for referral opportunities within the company (insurance, deposits, etc.). </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Skills/Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Requires strong networking and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Financial/quantitative skills. </li><li>Attention to detail. </li><li>Strong computer skills including Excel. </li></ul> <p>Supervisory Responsibility</p> <p>This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.</p> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This job operates in an office setting, the opportunity to telework is not available. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Office environment with job duties conducted via telephone, face to face meetings, and on the computer.</p> <p>Physical Demands</p> <p>This position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and open cabinets. This position requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary.</p> <p>Travel</p> <p>Local travel is required for this position.</p> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>Must be registered with NMLS Federal Registry. </li><li>Minimum of two years residential mortgage lending experience. </li><li>A four-year college degree is preferred. </li></ul> <p>This position is classified as non-exempt, and as such it is paid on an hourly basis. The pay range for this position is $19.23 per hour to $19.23 per hour. Other compensation includes a commission plan and overtime paid at one and one-half times the normal hourly rate for any hours worked in excess of 40 in a workweek.</p> <p>This position is classified as full-time and the benefits package includes health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance. Employees may select from coverage options which range from employee only to family coverage. Full-time employees receive either Paid Time Off (PTO) or separate paid vacation and paid illness leave accrual. This is in addition to a paid holiday schedule, paid bereavement, and paid parental leave. Benefits also include company paid life insurance and paid long-term disability coverage.
