Through our focuses on Safety throughout our facilities, Quality of products produced for our customers, Communication at all levels, Growth of not just our locations but also of our employees in their careers, and Performance with our ability to meet deadlines and goals for ourselves and our customers, we pride ourselves on the brand we have created and continue to grow.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Quality Assurance Lead Technician is responsible for providing daily guidance and direction, in conjunction with QA Management, to the QA Technicians in both the Analytical and Packaging labs.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assist in and encourage shift-to-shift communication between lab technicians, other QA lead persons, and QA/Packaging supervisors </li><li>Based on production need and resources, organize work load between lab techs on shift </li><li>Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are being followed by Technicians and Operations </li><li>Communicate directly with other department supervisors/leads to investigate and correct out of spec situations </li><li>Oversee Quality Hold Process occurring within the shift worked </li><li>Work with Operations Quality to manage the qualification of new/trial product quality needs </li><li>Review all data, hardcopy and electronic, for out of specification, errors, or missing data </li><li>Track all weekly and monthly monitoring data from completion, included but not limited to micro samples, retain samples, and etc </li><li>Be a positive role model for individuals, employees, co-workers, and management. Represent the company in a professional manner </li><li>Enforce GMP and Food Safety Policies </li><li>Other duties as assigned by Management </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor of Science degree in an applicable science (Biology, Food Science, Chemistry, etc.) or equivalent work experience is required </li><li>Minimum of 2 years of practical, hands-on brewery, production, or laboratory work is preferred </li><li>Minimum of 6 months of BCB lab experience required </li><li>Demonstrated leadership characteristics in current role as a technician </li><li>Knowledge of HACCP and GMP's, federal and state regulations concerning sanitary/food manufacturing operations </li><li>Experience in a quality department in a food manufacturing, brewing, or processing environment is preferred. </li><li>Possess excellent communication, planning and multi-tasking skills </li><li>Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite </li><li>Strong leadership and team skills </li><li>Good judgment, reasoning skills and the willingness to learn </li></ul> <p>City Brewery is an Equal Opportunity Employer, and all applicants will be considered without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran, or disability status.</p>
