<p>POSITION SUMMARY Reports To: Director of Human Resources Work Schedule: Must be able to work non-standard hours, which may be in excess of 40 hours per week. Summary: The Director of Radiology has the responsibility for leading, managing, and evaluating all aspects of Department. This individual is a key member of the Leadership Team, participating in hospital leadership activities. This position must demonstrate a strong commitment to the organization and community and must ensure that all initiatives are consistent with the mission, values, strategies, and vision of DCMH. Develops and implements business and strategic plans ensuring optimal delivery of clinical services, integration of physicians needs, as well as successful financial performance. Manages delivery of service assuring compliance with governmental regulations and established accrediting agency standards. Participates in continuous quality improvement activities and educational experiences in support of departmental philosophy and objectives. SKILLS and ABILITIES Education: Bachelor#s Degree in Radiology or health-related field, or equivalent experience required. Master#s degree preferred. Experience: At least five years of hospital supervisory experience in a Medical Imaging Dept. required. Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, email and basic computer skills for other software used throughout the hospital for your area of responsibility. Must be proficient in Microsoft applications. Certificates # Licenses: Certification by the State of Indiana in Radiological Technology required. Other Requirements: Must have experience in PACS and RIS systems.
