<p>Scope of Responsibility: Maintenance of buildings and equipment as well as other tasks required for physical plant operation.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Complete work orders for structural, electrical, plumbing and HVAC in a timely and code-compliant manner. </li><li>Communicate with staff and residents to maintain a good working relationship. </li><li>Answer intercepts, lockouts and 911 calls. </li><li>Order and restock supplies in shop. </li><li>Work on apartment turnovers such as small plumbing, carpentry, and electrical. </li><li>Preventative Maintenance Program completion for areas assigned. </li><li>Drive golf carts between facilities and service center to pick up supplies. </li><li>Weekends and evenings on-call per established rotational schedule. </li><li>Small project completion in assigned areas. </li><li>Repairs to larger equipment in assigned areas. </li><li>Work in a safe manner consistent with the training and requirements for the Maintenance department including lifting, ladders, electrical, lock out-tag out, personal protective devices, MSDS sheets and confined spaces. </li><li>Understand and follow the code requirements for the areas of assigned work. </li></ul> <p>Secondary Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Perform snow removal during the winter. </li><li>Assist with special events set up and tear down. </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required </li><li>One to three years general maintenance experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>Skills & Knowledge:</p> <ul> <li>Good communication skills. </li><li>Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry work. </li><li>Ability to drive a golf cart. </li><li>Ability to climb ladders. </li><li>Ability to work without close supervision while maintaining Greencroft Maintenance Department standards of conduct and job performance. </li></ul> <p>Schedule:</p> <p>Full-time; Monday thru Friday, days</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Medical/Dental/Vision </li><li>Voluntary Life </li><li>403(b) with employer match </li><li>PTO program </li><li>Additional Benefits available </li></ul>
