These efforts will require close collaboration with colleagues in R&D, Commercial and other functions. Additionally, this role will work to consistently refresh "blueprint TPPs" across key diseases of focus to incorporate latest data readouts, clinical input and other insights.</p> <p>Additional responsibilities will include developing competitive landscapes to support the business case for BD opportunities, supporting ongoing landscaping and market research projects, and performing ad-hoc research and analysis as required. This role will also Provide commercial leadership for preclinical R&D working groups and early stage Discovery programs to ensure that assets are targeted to be differentiated, competitive products that address unmet needs.</p> <p>The candidate should be a strong cross-functional leader and agile team player who is able to lead as well as participate on cross-functional teams, in order to gain alignment with regional commercial and global R&D colleagues to help shape BD activities. Ability to understand, interpret and communicate commercial and competitive implications of complex technical/clinical/regulatory data. Strong presentation and influencing skills to gain stage gate and funding approvals with various management/senior leadership decision bodies (e.g., Immunology Portfolio Committee, External Innovation Committee).</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>A minimum of an advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD, etc.) is required. </li><li>A minimum of 10 years of overall professional business experience is required. </li><li>A minimum of 5 years of strategic marketing and/or medical affairs is required. </li><li>Comprehensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, pharmaceutical marketing, and the drug development process is required. </li><li>Experience with Immunology is preferred. </li><li>Business Development experience is preferred. </li><li>Must have strong analytical skills and ability to master complexity. </li><li>Excellent and proven presentation/communication skills. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead and participate on cross-functional teams, with strong collaborative skills in developing relationships. </li><li>Must have highly developed planning and prioritization skills to lead projects, and proven ability to influence without line authority. </li><li>Strong knowledge of global markets and market access strategies is preferred. </li><li>Must have strong knowledge of analytical techniques in order to help design and shape research projects, interpret data, provide input into forecasting, and drive advanced decision analysis. </li><li>This position will be located in Horsham, PA with 20-30% local (PA, NJ) and some international travel. </li></ul> <p>Johnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
