<p>General Summary</p> <p>Who We Are</p> <p>With three campuses along Colorado's Front Range, Front Range Community College is the state's largest community college. We enroll close to 28,000 students annually from our diverse service area, which offers a variety of cultural and recreational activities.</p> <p>Each year approximately 5,000 FRCC students transfer to four-year universities. FRCC offers more than 36 career training programs that prepare students for immediate employment and rewarding careers. Last year, more than 5,000 high school students took concurrent enrollment classes with us, earning college credit without having to pay college tuition. We're looking to hire people who share these values-along with our commitment to student success, equity and excellence.</p> <p>Who You Are</p> <p>As a full-time faculty member in the Health Science and Wellness Department you provide instruction in all levels of Health and Wellnessincluding certificate and/or transfer levels. You work individually, as well as in collaboration with colleagues, to develop innovative curriculum which meets the needs of our diverse population of students. Student retention and success is your top priority. You will utilize technology and effective teaching strategies to develop students' critical thinking skills.</p> <p>As a faculty member you act as a mentor for the part-time instructors. You serve as representative of the department by participating in committees, task forces, and events at the campus, college, and/or state levels. You may be asked to teach at different times, locations and modalities to meet the needs of the College.</p> <p>Please note: this is an on-campus position with some remote work opportunities. You need to be a Colorado resident on your first day of employment. Also, Front Range Community College is an E-Verify employer.</p> <p>SALARY:$58,291 - $66,354/annually. This posting may be used to fill multiple or similar roles.</p> <p>The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, Health Facilities and Emergency Medical Services Division (CDPHE) issued an emergency rule on August 31, 2021 requiring the COVID-19 vaccination for health care workers in the State of Colorado. This includes Front Range Community College employees working in the healthcare clinics/facilities.</p> <p>Preliminary screening will be made on the basis of completed application package submitted by candidate. Completed application package includes:</p> <ul> <li>A resume; </li><li>A letter of interest; </li><li>A copy of official transcripts; </li><li>A one-page statement of your teaching philosophy; and </li><li>A list of courses and the semesters you have taught. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required Education/Training & Work Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in one of several related degrees listed below. Also allowed, a Master's degree in any field, plus 18 graduate credits in one of the related degrees.Related Degree: Nutrition & Dietetics, Public Health, Exercise Science. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Education/Training & Work Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Teaching experience at the post-secondary level </li><li>Experience with remote/online or hybrid teaching </li><li>Experience with online course management systems </li></ul> <p>Welcoming.
