As part of this role, the Securities Data Management Analyst will work closely with several internal and external teams to resolve issues quickly and add value by executing a number of simultaneous tasks with minimal supervision and exemplary follow through.</p> <p>What you will do</p> <ul> <li>Enter and maintain security masters, transactions, pricing, and ratings data in investment systems to ensure accurate downstream reporting. </li><li>Perform and maintain data quality and validation checks to ensure the accuracy of investment data before loading to downstream systems. </li><li>Ensure that data exceptions are captured and documented appropriately to facilitate continued improvement of the data management environment. </li><li>Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Investment's front, middle, and back office as well as with RGA corporate partners. </li><li>Monitor trade flow from electronic trading platforms (Bloomberg, TradeWeb, MarketAxess, etc.) and affirmation platforms. </li><li>Ongoing care and feeding of systems and processes for investment data. </li><li>Support projects and initiatives that drive the Investment Data Strategy. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education and Experience</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Mathematics, or equivalent working experience </li><li>2+ Years experience in the financial industry </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with investment operations processes and systems </li><li>Familiarity with BlackRock Solutions Aladdin, Bloomberg, TradeWeb, MarketAxess, or comparable systems </li></ul> <p>Skills and Abilities</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Intermediate knowledge of broad investments business practices </li><li>Intermediate knowledge securities such as fixed income, middle market bank loans, direct senior, mezzanine, and private equity, equity real estate joint ventures, commercial mortgage loans, and lifetime mortgages </li><li>Intermediate knowledge of investment market data </li><li>Well organized with the ability to multi-task and effectively manage changing priorities </li><li>Ability to work independently, as well as in a team </li><li>Intermediate level of investigative, analytical and problem-solving skills </li><li>Intermediate Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Tableau </li><li>Intermediate SQL/Query Skills </li></ul> <p>#LI-MB1</p> <p>What you can expect from RGA:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Gain valuable knowledge from and experience with diverse, caring colleagues around the world.</p> </li><li> <p>Enjoy a respectful, welcoming environment that fosters individuality and encourages pioneering thought.</p> </li><li> <p>Join the bright and creative minds of RGA, and experience vast, endless career potential.</p> </li></ul> <p>Compensation Range:</p> <p>$76,100.00 - $108,050.00 Annual</p> <p>Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan.
