<p>Duties</p> <ul> <li>Provide individual and group counseling to students in conjunction with tiered levels of service </li><li>Deliver crisis intervention, risk assessment, and safety planning (including suicide risk assessments as appropriate). </li><li>Conduct social developmental studies (SDS), functional behavioral assessments (FBAs), and contribute to behavior intervention plans (BIPs). </li><li>Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to improve student engagement, behavior, and coping skills. </li><li>Participate in IEP, 504, and MTSS/problem-solving teams. </li><li>Case management for 504 plans. </li><li>Support implementation of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) for behavior and SEL. </li><li>Progress monitor student goals and maintain required documentation. </li><li>Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers to support student success. </li><li>Provide consultation to staff on trauma-informed practices, behavior management, and social-emotional supports. </li><li>Support co-development of interventions within general education and special education settings. </li><li>Provide consultation to staff on social-emotional and behavioral strategies. </li><li>Facilitate social skills groups, classroom lessons, and SEL supports. </li><li>Partner with families and serve as a liaison to community resources. </li><li>Work collaboratively with 6 additional members on a Student Services Team (SST). </li><li>Support school-wide initiatives related to mental health, attendance, and school climate. </li><li>Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical and educational records. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Master's Degree in Social Work required </li><li>Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement </li><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience working with adolescents preferred </li><li>Experience with special education processes, evaluations, and compliance </li><li>Strong skills in collaboration, communication, and problem-solving </li><li>Knowledge of evidence-based social-emotional and behavioral interventions </li></ul> <p>Salary/Benefits</p> <p>Per Faculty Senate collective bargaining agreement, initial placement on the salary schedule between BA and MA+60 depending on the educational level, and Step 1 and 5 depending on experience.</p> <p>Includes full benefits package.
