<p>Job Summary:</p> <p>Responsible for providing exceptional customer service while creating a memorable experience for our guests.</p> <p>Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Greets guests immediately, makes suggestions and answers questions regarding food, beverages and service; guides guests through menus, answers questions thoroughly, and provides specific item suggestions and information about the establishment.</p> </li><li> <p>Takes and records food and beverage orders from guests</p> </li><li> <p>Processes guests' orders, using the computer terminal according to established guidelines</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures that all food and beverages delivered and served are served promptly, garnished correctly and meet the quality/presentation standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Observe restaurant guests to ensure that guests are satisfied with food, beverages and service: immediately recognizes and responds to any guest needs and/or requests.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains tables and station according to established guidelines throughout the dining experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for all checks issued to guest for payment; processes payment for service via cash, credit or other methods of payment.</p> </li><li> <p>Practices salesmanship to enhance the dining experience. Uses guests' names regularly throughout the dining experience</p> </li><li> <p>Adheres to responsible alcohol service established by company policy.</p> </li><li> <p>Handles guest complaints or directs them to a manager.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Minimum of (2) years of experience providing food service in a high-end restaurant preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Outstanding communication skills and outgoing personality.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced atmosphere.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrate a high level of organization, attention-to-detail and a sense-of-urgency.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be neat and clean in appearance.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to move throughout the outlet (standing, walking, kneeling, bending) for extended periods of time.</p> </li><li> <p>Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to work with hand above shoulders.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to move objects up to 50 pounds.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to tolerate exposure to loud/noisy environment</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work in a smoke-filled environment.</p> </li></ul>
