We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to join our dynamic accounting team.</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>As a Junior AR Specialist, you will play a key role in managing the accounts receivable process, ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, and strong customer relationships. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within a supportive and fast-paced team. This role will be worked 100% onsite in Camden, NJ with no opportunity to go remote or hybrid.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Monitor aged receivables and ensure timely payment in accordance with established terms.</p> </li><li> <p>Analyze and report on outstanding balances weekly, identifying and escalating slow-moving debts.</p> </li><li> <p>Enforce customer credit limits and payment terms to reduce financial risk.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage billing and collections for both domestic and international customers.</p> </li><li> <p>Process and apply cash receipts accurately; reconcile discrepancies.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain financial records by preparing journal entries and updating tracking spreadsheets.</p> </li><li> <p>Investigate and resolve customer disputes and payment issues.</p> </li><li> <p>Handle returns and RMA processing.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate across departments to support month-end close with timely reports and reconciliations.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other duties as needed to support the AR team.</p> </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For:</p> <ul> <li> <p>1-2 years of experience in accounts receivable or related accounting roles.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.</p> </li><li> <p>Effective verbal and written communication skills for customer interaction.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to prioritize and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with ERP or internal accounting systems is a plus.</p> </li><li> <p>Self-starter who can work both independently and as part of a team.</p> </li><li> <p>Associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.</p> </li></ul> <p>Position Salary $45 - 55k/yr</p> <p>#LI-onsite</p>
