In this role, the intern will work closely with the Policy and Legislation team as well as the Communications and the Small Business Initiative teams.</p> <p>https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/FM68GFV</p> <p>Program Duration: June 1, 2026 - August 7, 2026</p> <p>Office Location: 24 Beacon St, Boston, MA 02133</p> <p>Policy & Legislation Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Summarize pending legislation and update bill tracking spreadsheets;</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in reviewing legislation and drafting new bills for the next legislative session;</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare memos and briefs, summarizing research;</p> </li><li> <p>Attend legislative hearings and events, when applicable;</p> </li><li> <p>Assist team in daily office management, including data entry, administrative work, and various special projects.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Excellent oral and written communications skills;</p> </li><li> <p>Strong organizational skills and work ethic;</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously;</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to handle confidential information in a responsible and sensitive manner; and</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient in using graphic design & illustration software and Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.</p> </li><li> <p>Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within teams</p> </li></ul> <p>Program Benefits:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Work directly with Executive Office staff and leadership.</p> </li><li> <p>Gain experience with intergovernmental cooperation.</p> </li><li> <p>Witness open meetings.</p> </li><li> <p>Valuable public administration, policy, and finance experience.</p> </li></ul> <p>Application:</p> <p>We are committed to advancing the experience of students in the workplace.
