<p>Job Title: HVAC Project EngineerJob Description</p> <p>We are seeking a skilled HVAC Project Engineer to lead and execute HVAC modernization projects. This role involves overseeing the entire lifecycle of projects from engineering through execution, supporting energy-reduction initiatives, and ensuring the successful completion of HVAC projects.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the lead Project Engineer on one active HVAC modernization project, taking it from engineering through execution. </li><li>Support energy-reduction initiatives by upgrading and modernizing HVAC and HVAC control systems. </li><li>Perform detailed engineering, design, and scoping for three additional future HVAC projects. </li><li>Develop project scopes, gather vendor and contractor quotes, and support cost estimates. </li><li>Submit and manage Capital Expense Requests (CERs). </li><li>Coordinate, manage, and oversee contractors and approved vendors. </li><li>Act as the day-to-day technical owner for HVAC projects, ensuring work is executed safely, on time, and within scope. </li><li>Interface with internal stakeholders to support project planning and execution. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Experience running HVAC projects with at least $1M CapEx. </li><li>Understanding of recent and modern HVAC Control Systems. </li><li>Experience with project scoping for HVAC in a manufacturing environment. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Manufacturing background/experience. </li><li>Experience working for an MEP firm. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This is a fully on-site role with a work schedule from Monday to Friday. Employees can start work as early as 7 AM or as late as 8:30 AM. If starting at 7 AM, the day concludes at 4 PM, and if starting at 8:30 AM, the day concludes at 5:30 PM.</p> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract position based out of Belvidere, NJ.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $67.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
