We encourage our team to strive for personal and professional greatness and are always empowered to do what is right.</p> <p>Join our AAA Five Diamond property in Central Florida!</p> <p>The Opportunity:</p> <p>Engineering Coordinator</p> <p>Who We Look For:</p> <p>We are looking for an individual who can provide support to the Director of Engineering and Engineering Managers.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to oversee the aspects of all general office administration. </li><li>Follow and complete all payroll records and procedures. </li><li>Assist guests and department's requests for maintenance from the Engineering department and route the request to the appropriate person(s). </li><li>Create and modify documents such as invoices, reports, memos, and financial reports using word processing, spreadsheets, and other database programs. </li><li>Compile, transcribe, and distribute minutes of meetings. </li><li>Collect and maintain physical inventories. </li><li>Coordinate the maintenance of the physical plant and associated equipment. </li><li>Perform skills such as dictation, typing, filing and telephone answering for the Engineering department </li><li>Implement and handle preventative maintenance of all equipment and update appropriate logs </li><li>Respond to contractor and service calls regarding maintenance of rooms and equipment in rooms or public area in a timely manner </li><li>Build and maintain excellent professional relationships with partners and vendors </li><li>Respond and coordinate emergency conditions as needed such as fires, power failures, etc. </li><li>Coordinate cleaning of all stations in Engineering, grease traps, plumbing stoppages and maintain an organized department and hotel. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language. </li><li>High degree of initiative, motivation, and endurance. </li><li>High school graduate or equivalent required. </li><li>Must possess two years of prior experience in a position of similar responsibility. </li><li>Requires knowledge of the ability to operate computer equipment, familiar with Microsoft 365. </li><li>Requires a working technical knowledge of general building maintenance. </li><li>Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-Job or through a series of professional certifications. </li><li>Knowledge of principal and practices of basic office management and organization. </li><li>Good organizational skills, with the ability to work independently. </li><li>Ability to function well under pressure, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions. </li><li>High work ethic, with a sense of responsibility for the role filled within our team. </li><li>Must have a valid Driver's License </li></ul> <p>A successful candidate will have a flexible schedule with the ability to work on weekends and holidays.
