<p>Description</p> <p>Hill International Trucks, the Tri-State areas leading medium- and heavy-duty truck and trailer dealership, is looking for a Field Team Lead to oversee our Mobile Maintenance team. This role focuses on running an efficient, profitable department through strong leadership, customer service, and operational management.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure technicians' time is fully utilized and billed correctly. </li><li>Set goals for the department and work toward meeting them. </li><li>Maintain all required reports and service records. </li><li>Lead weekly team meetings and manage daily schedules. </li><li>Monitor department performance, productivity, and payroll. </li><li>Oversee parts availability and follow up on orders. </li><li>Review and approve repair orders and warranty submissions. </li><li>Build strong customer relationships and encourage repeat business. </li><li>Handle customer concerns and complete follow-up calls. </li><li>Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and warranty regulations. </li><li>Recommend new tools, equipment, and staff training as needed. </li><li>Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment. </li><li>Represent the company professionally during customer visits and meetings. </li></ul> <p>Supervisory Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for managing both exempt and non-exempt staff. </li></ul> <p>Skills Needed:</p> <ul> <li>Strong reading, writing, and communication skills. </li><li>Ability to present information clearly to team members and customers. </li><li>Basic math skills (percentages, discounts, measurements, etc.). </li><li>Strong problem-solving and reasoning abilities. </li></ul> <p>Schedule:</p> <ul> <li>Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM </li><li>Includes on-call evenings and weekends and some travel for customer visits or company events. </li></ul> <p>Benefits & Pay:</p> <ul> <li>Salary $50-60k+ bonuses, depending on experience </li><li>Bonus and incentive programs </li><li>401(k) with 4% match </li><li>Health, dental, and vision insurance </li><li>Life insurance </li><li>Short- and long-term disability </li><li>Paid time off and holidays </li><li>Career growth opportunities </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>2+ years as a Service Advisor or Service Manager (truck or automotive preferred) </li><li>Strong communication and customer service skills </li><li>Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Detail-oriented and organized </li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office and Windows systems </li><li>High school diploma required </li><li>Valid driver's license with clean record </li><li>Must pass background check and drug test </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Mostly seated work, with occasional bending or reaching. </li><li>Ability to lift 5-20 lbs occasionally. </li><li>Occasional exposure to engine fumes and loud noise. </li><li>Must be able to perform detailed, accurate work. </li><li>Overtime as needed (including on-call rotation). </li></ul> <p>Hill International Trucks (Or Other Entity Ford/Modern) is an equal opportunity employer.
