<p>Hologic is a leading developer, manufacturer and supplier of premium diagnostic products, medical imaging systems, and surgical products dedicated to serving the healthcare needs of women throughout the World. Hologic is a leader in ten areas of women's health, including mammography and breast biopsy; radiation treatment for early-stage breast cancer; breast MRI; cervical cancer screening; treatment of menorrhagia; permanent contraception; osteoporosis assessment; preterm birth risk assessment; mini C-arms for extremity imaging; as well as molecular diagnostic products, including HPV testing and reagents for a variety of DNA analysis applications. Our core business units are focused on breast health, diagnostics, GYN surgical, and skeletal health.</p> <p>As our Senior Director of Logistics, you will lead and transform Hologic's warehousing and distribution operations across the United States. Supporting approximately $2.5 billion in revenue, this strategic role involves overseeing a network of major warehouses and a dedicated team to ensure efficient and reliable product delivery to our customers. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, strategic transformation, and stakeholder engagement to elevate our logistics capabilities.</p> <p>This role will be based in one of our offices with major operations: Marlborough, Massachusetts, Newark, Delaware, or San Diego, California</p> <p>What to Expect</p> <p>Operational Leadership:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee warehousing and distribution operations, including five major warehouses (both owned and 3PL facilities) across the US. </li><li>Manage a team of 40-50 employees, comprising both white-collar professionals and blue-collar warehouse operators. </li><li>Ensure efficient execution of order fulfillment, inventory management, and delivery processes to meet customer expectations. </li></ul> <p>Strategic Transformation:</p> <ul> <li>Lead the transformation of logistics operations to enhance efficiency, scalability, and responsiveness. </li><li>Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to align logistics strategies with overall business objectives. </li><li>Drive initiatives to adopt best practices and innovative solutions in supply chain management. </li></ul> <p>Stakeholder Engagement:</p> <ul> <li>Build strong relationships with supply chain leaders to integrate logistics operations into the broader supply chain strategy seamlessly. </li><li>Act as a key liaison between logistics operations and other business functions, fostering collaboration and alignment. </li></ul> <p>Performance Management:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve operational performance. </li><li>Utilize data-driven insights to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost optimization. </li></ul> <p>Compliance and Risk Management:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards in logistics and distribution operations. </li><li>Identify and mitigate risks associated with logistics activities, ensuring business continuity and resilience. </li></ul> <p>What We Expect</p> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. </li><li>MBA or advanced degree preferred. </li></ul> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>Proven experience in a senior logistics or supply chain leadership role, preferably within the healthcare or medical technology industry. </li><li>Strong track record of leading large-scale logistics operations and driving transformational change. </li></ul> <p>Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. </li><li>Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities. </li><li>Familiarity with 3PL and 4PL models, with a nuanced understanding of their application in different markets. </li></ul> <p>What We Offer:</p> <p>The annualized base salary range for this role will be $175,000 to $250,000 and is bonus eligible.
