<p>Overview</p> <p>We are looking for a skilled Field Service Technician - Motors & Generators to join our team in Minneapolis, MN. In this role, you will perform on-site maintenance, diagnostics, and repair services for equipment supported by our Machine Service Division (MSD). The ideal candidate brings a solid technical background in electric motors, generators, and rotating equipment, with proven ability to troubleshoot, service, and restore equipment to peak performance.</p> <p>This position is hands-on, customer-facing, and critical to ensuring reliable operation of our clients' power and motor systems.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Install, service, and repair electric motors, generators, and related equipment in the field</p> </li><li> <p>Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting to identify and resolve equipment issues efficiently</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct preventive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and performance</p> </li><li> <p>Deliver exceptional customer service, maintaining clear and professional communication with clients</p> </li><li> <p>Accurately complete required service reports, documentation, and work orders in a timely manner</p> </li><li> <p>Follow all safety procedures, standards, and company policies while working on-site</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications in electrical/mechanical fields preferred</p> </li><li> <p>2+ years of hands-on experience as a Field Service Technician, preferably with motors, generators, or rotating equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Solid mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients</p> </li><li> <p>Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required</p> </li><li> <p>Self-motivated and adaptable, able to work independently or collaboratively as part of a service team</p> </li></ul> <p>Pay Range</p> <p>USD $30.00 - USD $45.00 /Hr.</p>
