<p>RESIDENCE LIFE WORK STUDY</p> <p>SUMMER RESIDENCE FACILITIES MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT</p> <p>Department: Residence Life</p> <p>Classification: SUMMER RESIDENCE FACILITIES MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT</p> <p>Location: Residence Halls</p> <p>Supervisor: Residence Life Coordinator</p> <p>Purpose of position: The Residence Life Facility Maintenance staff consists of student members of the Residence Life Department and are hired based on their ability and desire to help keep the residence halls operating smoothly and efficiently. The Residence Life Facility Maintenance worker will assist the Residence Life Coordinators daily throughout the summer to maintain clean, orderly, and functional residence halls.</p> <p>Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Use a pressure washer to clean the Quads, and horseshoes in front of Littlejohn Parlor and Russell East/West. </li><li>Daily walk through of the Quads to pick up trash </li><li>Assist with moving and/or fixing furniture based on what is needed </li><li>Other duties as needed </li></ul> <p>Rate of pay (Pay Scale Guide):</p> <p>Rate of pay may vary based on experience.</p> <p>PAY LEVEL 1: $8.50</p> <p>PAY LEVEL 2: $9.00- $9.50</p> <p>PAY LEVEL 3: $10.00</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Good communication skills </li><li>Be Reliable </li><li>Attention to detail </li><li>Strong work ethic and show initiative </li><li>Be able to lift heavy furniture with assistance of co-workers </li><li>Work 40 hours per week between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday based on student class, and exam schedules. </li></ul> <p>Number of Positions: 4-7</p>
