As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.</p> <p>Job responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Design, develop, and implement software solutions to address complex business and technical challenges within the storage product domain. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, architect solutions, and deliver products that meet customer needs and business objectives. </li><li>Develop secure, high-quality production code and participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure adherence to coding standards. </li><li>Identify opportunities to automate and remediate recurring issues to improve operational stability and efficiency. </li><li>Manage the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. </li><li>Evaluate and integrate new technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance system performance, scalability, and reliability. </li><li>Lead technical sessions with internal teams and external vendors to assess architectural designs and technical solutions for integration. </li><li>Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning, growth, and technical excellence. </li><li>Stay informed about the latest advancements in software engineering, programming languages, and infrastructure technologies. </li><li>Champion agile methodologies and practices, driving continuous improvement and innovation across the team. </li></ul> <p>Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills</p> <ul> <li>Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience </li><li>Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability </li><li>Advanced in one or more programming language(s) including Python, RabbitMQ, Cockerroach, React, Django, FastAPI, Flask, Django, and AWS </li><li>Experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability </li><li>Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods </li><li>Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle </li><li>Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security </li><li>Demonstrated proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.) </li><li>In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems </li><li>Practical cloud native experience </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills</p> <ul> <li> <p>Modern emerging technologies</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with infrastructure technologies, storage systems, or related domains</p> </li></ul>
