<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Full time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Day Shift</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Position Purpose</p> <p>Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center a member of Trinity Health Of New England is looking for a Rehabilitation Technician to join our mission-driven Inpatient Acute Care Rehab Team.</p> <p>The Rehab Tech assists the therapists with direct patient care activities utilizing rehabilitation techniques and coordinates non-clinical activities and support functions for the Rehab team.</p> <p>You Will Be Responsible For:</p> <ul> <li>Prepares and assist in routine treatment in the acute care setting </li><li>cleaning a patient and assisting with ADL's </li><li>Assisting therapist with manipulating critical lines, tubes and drains for patients </li><li>Performs ongoing inventory of equipment and materials to ensure adequate supply </li><li>General clerical and front desk support </li><li>Communicates with ancillary departments, clients, and family members to ensure customer satisfaction. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent, with general knowledge of sciences, medical terminology </li><li>Prior healthcare or patient service preferred. </li><li>Strong communication skills, verbal and written. </li><li>Excellent Customer Service Skills and demonstrated simple math skills. </li></ul> <p>Highlights</p> <ul> <li>Become a valued member of an excellent, dedicated health care team </li><li>Engaged leadership </li><li>Excellent Benefits effective on first day </li><li>Full Time - 32 hours </li></ul> <p>Saint Francis Hospital is committed to exceeding the expectations of our patients and families by providing world-class service in a progressive, people-centered, compassionate health care environment.
