Vogt is based in Louisville, KY and specializes in the design, manufacture and supply of equipment and solutions to the power generation industry. We are an industry leader in heat recovery steam generators (HRSGs) with both domestic and international customers.</p> <p>The Parts Sales Specialist should be proactive and customer-focused to support and drive key initiatives within our HRSG Services parts business. This role combines strong project management skills with hands-on customer and vendor engagement to ensure seamless execution of parts proposals and order fulfillment.</p> <p>As a central point of contact for our clients, the Parts Sales Specialist will manage the full lifecycle of customer orders-from inquiry to delivery-while providing top-tier support and communication throughout the process. This position requires a self-motivated professional with a passion for delivering exceptional service, capable of handling incoming requests for replacement or spare parts related to Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG) and other specialized heat transfer equipment designed by Vogt Power.</p> <p>Essential Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare complete and accurate proposal packages, including technical evaluations, pricing, and commercial terms. </li><li>Manage a high volume of small-scale projects from initiation through customer invoicing. </li><li>Maintain the parts tracking system to keep Group Leader and peers informed on order status. </li><li>Demonstrate a basic understanding of HRSG systems and related balance-of-plant equipment. </li><li>Review customer specifications to determine requirements and coordinate with other departments as needed to develop accurate and complete proposals. </li></ul> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p> <p>Job Requirements / Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and thoroughly follow sales processes.</p> </li><li> <p>Analytical and business skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with project controls including budgets, schedules, documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications is preferred but not required.</p> </li><li> <p>Must have a valid passport and be able to travel when required, up to 5%.</p> </li></ul> <p>To provide greater transparency to candidates, we include base pay ranges for all US-based job postings that encompass all potential locations and levels for the open position. Our base pay ranges are set based on the function, discipline, level and regional location and are benchmarked against companies in the same or similar industry. Final offers may vary based on multiple factors, including education, depth and relevance of work experience, relevant licenses and certifications, and may vary from the amounts listed in the job posting.</p> <p>The base pay range for this Parts Sales Specialist role is $75,000 - $95,000 annually.</p>
