As a supplier of one third of catalysts into the automotive industry globally, we are playing our part in creating a future for tomorrow.</p> <p>This position will have on site responsibility and engagement of all shipping functions performed at either the JM plant or the off-site warehouse. Evaluates incoming demands from canner/customer to identify short-term fluctuations and coordinates the dispatch of FG materials accordingly to the demands. Individual is responsible for shipping activities for JM customers worldwide including Toll parts. Assist with periodic inventory audits of raw materials, washcoats, and finished goods.</p> <p>Your responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Work with the Planning, Quality, Warehouse, and Commercial teams to ensure execution of the shipping plan in a timely fashion as required by customer demands. </li><li>Responsible for the shipments (Chemicals, Finished Goods, Substrate, Quarantine, and miscellaneous equipment items) stored at the Pottstown Warehouse or at the production site. </li><li>Tracks and publishes monthly On-Time-Delivery and expedited freight cost. </li><li>Communicates and negotiates shortfalls to customers and comprehends impacts related </li><li>Directs daily shipping operations at each storage location. </li><li>Comply with all company policies and all federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations and requirements. </li><li>Coordinate shipments of all overnight or expedited small parcel packages at the Wayne site including commercial invoicing. </li><li>Other duties as assigned or required. </li></ul> <p>Requirements for the role:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required. Degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field highly desired. </li><li>Industrial experience and awareness of manufacturing procedures, operations, and/or MRP/ERP systems required. </li><li>Specialized training or certification in logistics, knowledge of INCOTERMS, inventory control, international traffic procedures, are highly desired. </li><li>Demand analytics for spikes and valleys of customer forecast inputs. </li><li>Any equivalent relevant combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work. </li></ul> <p>How you will be rewarded:</p> <p>We offer a competitive compensation and JM Elements benefits package including bonus, excellent pension contributions and 20 days annual leave (varies for shift- based roles).
