<p>Position Title: Maintenance</p> <p>Reports To: Building Manager</p> <p>FLSA Status: Part Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt</p> <p>Summary</p> <p>The Maintenance position is responsible for completing maintenance task to repair equipment and preserve the quality of the facility. by completing various tasks throughout building per schedule or on an as needed basis.</p> <p>Essential Job Functions / Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Perform routine maintenance check Overseeing inventory of cleaning supplies and tools</p> </li><li> <p>Basic janitorial duties as needed including, but not limited to, sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors, Cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking restrooms</p> </li><li> <p>Emptying trash and recycle bins</p> </li><li> <p>Washing windows and mirrors</p> </li><li> <p>Uses common cleaning tools and equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Perform routine maintenance and repair on areas such as structure damage, leaking plumbing, or damaged wiring, patching, and painting</p> </li><li> <p>Hanging items, moving furniture, putting together furniture or equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Apply preventive maintenance measures for upcoming weather conditions or scheduled maintenance</p> </li><li> <p>Fixing potential safety hazards</p> </li><li> <p>Following lead from Building Manager with assigned tasks as needed to support operations</p> </li><li> <p>Possess knowledge and understanding of company policy, procedure, and operational requirements</p> </li><li> <p>Provide excellent customer service</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Skills / Abilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Has basic maintenance knowledge which includes plumbing, electrical, carpentry, groundskeeping etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Works well independently</p> </li><li> <p>Strong time management</p> </li><li> <p>Follows written and verbal instructions from manager</p> </li><li> <p>Has excellent communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail is a must</p> </li><li> <p>Judgement and high level of integrity</p> </li><li> <p>High initiative and reliable</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work in a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration, and teamwork</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must be able to have long periods being able to stand, bend, or walk for 100% of the shift as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to quickly ascend and descend stairs and move, as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Must have excellent visual and auditory acuity to see, hear, and interpret observable people, things, behavior, and speech.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be able to lift upwards of 50 pounds</p> </li></ul> <p>Position Type and Expected Hours of Work</p> <ul> <li> <p>Part -Time, Hourly, Non -Exempt</p> </li><li> <p>Mon - Fri 9am to 5pm (Flexible) / Some weekends may be required to address 24/7 facility operations</p> </li><li> <p>Indoor work environment</p> </li><li> <p>On site - Flint location</p> </li><li> <p>Limited travel may be needed</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li> <p>High School Diploma or GED required</p> </li><li> <p>Maintenance or area of maintenance certification, preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Prior related maintenance experience, preferred</p> </li></ul> <p>Other Duties</p> <p>Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
