<ul> <li> <p>Follows procedures for chain of custody for individual served valuables placed in the safe; performing inventory checks every time the key for the safe changes hands.</p> </li><li> <p>Works to improve or maintain safety at the Recovery Center.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains the Medication Observation Record (MOR) by facilitating access to and documentation of medication observations consistent with policy.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with individual served care management and records progress toward treatment plan objectives using the Electronic Health Record (EHR).</p> </li><li> <p>Lead and monitor therapeutic groups and leisure and exercise activities. Record in EHR, as required.</p> </li><li> <p>Interacts respectfully and in a dignified manner with all individual served, staff, visitors, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Complete intake/admission and discharge process:</p> </li><li> <p>Security/safety checks.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct search of individual served and belongings for contraband.</p> </li><li> <p>Enter information into EHR.</p> </li><li> <p>At admission complete inventory of personal belongings at admissions and discharge review the inventory of personal belongings; obtaining the individual served signature each instance.</p> </li><li> <p>Explain consents and other documents required for admissions</p> </li><li> <p>Complete discharges from the bed board as directed by the clinicians.</p> </li><li> <p>Explain the Departure Before Treatment Completed form and provide individual served with Narcan prior to discharge</p> </li><li> <p>Obtain consent for ongoing services for individual served continuing services with CBHC for aftercare, as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Obtain and document vital signs.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain general cleanliness of the unit, laundry, making beds, infection control routines, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Redirect individual served(s) behavior in a firm, yet respectful manner, participate in verbal-de-escalation, and work as a team to implement Handle with Care (HWC) non-violent interventions to fidelity.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for maintaining individual served confidentiality (HIPAA and 42-CFR).</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor individual served behaviors and interactions.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Minimum of one (1) years' experience in behavioral health. Acute care experience preferred. </li><li>Ability to pass a level II Background clearance and drug test. </li><li>Valid FL drivers' license, insurance, and safe driving record. </li><li>Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds </li><li>Stamina to stand, walk, sit, and perform tasks for extended periods. </li><li>Manual dexterity and visual acuity for documentation. </li><li>Auditory acuity for verbal interactions whether face-to-face or over the phone. </li><li>Ability to operate a motor vehicle in all conditions. </li><li>Must maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct, while adhering to agency policies and procedures. </li><li>Ability to use a computer </li><li>Attention to detail </li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team, in collaboration with other community partners. </li><li>Ability to manage stressful situations and display appropriate work demeanor and boundaries. </li><li>Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service. </li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills. </li></ul>
