Hours for the position are 6:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday, which includes 1 hour of mandatory overtime, according to business needs.</p> <p>We offer competitive pay, and a robust benefit package which includes medical, dental, vision plans, 401(k) match up to 5%, wellness days and a one-week paid holiday shutdown during the holidays. As an industry leader we design, test and manufacture the highest performing, self-lubricating, roller element, metal to metal and miniature bearings in the industry.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>Maintains measurement and testing equipment for quality tools according to American National Standards Specifications (ANSI).</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist with maintaining metrology lab equipment. </li><li>Calibrate, adjust and ensure reliability of equipment. Per Kamatics calibration schedule. Repair as needed. </li><li>Maintain records, issue reports, and track missing and delinquent equipment within the system. </li><li>Write requisitions for purchasing, calibration, and repair of equipment. </li><li>Maintain clean and safe work environment. Follows safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Report safety incidents to supervisor. </li><li>Make recommendations for improvements to work processes and procedures. Contribute to 6S programs in work area. </li><li>Provide a high level of service to all internal and external customers. Contributes to positive teamwork environment. </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Requirement/Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Education - High School Diploma or equivalent </li><li>Experience - Minimum of 1 year in a manufacturing environment; aerospace manufacturing preferred. </li><li>Skills: </li><li>Ability to calibrate quality instruments/gages and repair quality equipment </li><li>Ability to read manufacturing blueprints with solid mechanical aptitude. </li><li>Ability to set up and utilize different gages and inspect work. </li><li>Solid knowledge in basic manufacturing math. </li><li>Solid analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to make fact-based decisions. </li><li>Ability to communicate with different levels in the organization (speaking, listening, and questioning) </li><li>Strong attention to detail, and organizational skills with a focus on obtaining results. </li><li>Dependable individual that takes initiative, works well with a team and has a strong customer service mindset. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Continual standing </li><li>Frequent bending/twisting </li><li>Frequent grasping items and tools </li><li>Frequent mental and visual attention </li><li>Occasional (15-40%) lifting and moving materials up to 50 lbs. </li></ul>
