Successful candidates should demonstrate a strong understanding of the CT Core Standards and the pedagogical and assessment practices that support students' attainment of expected learning outcomes. A strong knowledge of literacy and data collection in these areas is essential. Additionally, the candidate must be able to explain their understanding of tiered intervention strategies and their experience with an RTI process. The successful candidates must also be strong collaborators and be able to articulate their beliefs about how they can contribute to a positive, energized school climate and culture. Finally, candidates must be willing to demonstrate flexibility and innovation.</p> <p>About Us:</p> <p>Salisbury Central School is a PK-8 school in rural Northwest Connecticut, part of the Region One School District. Our class sizes are small, and we believe all students can learn at a very high achievement level.
