<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Dean College is looking for a dynamic, experienced, student-centered educator to teach courses in the Psychology program, including developmental/personality psychology. The successful candidate will teach an array of courses including Human Development: The Life Span, Child Development, Adolescent Development, General Psychology, Personality Theories, and others. The candidate should be a generalist who can teach a wide array of psychology courses.</p> <p>All School of Liberal Arts academic programs are grounded in the liberal arts, stress experiential learning, and seek to develop a career mindset in students to prepare them for life after Dean.</p> <p>Applications may be considered until the position is filled. Priority will be given to applications received by April 18, 2025.</p> <p>Position responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Overall equivalent of 15 contact hours each semester. </li><li>Hold office hours as required and meet with students by appointment. </li><li>Coach and mentor students regarding academic and career goals including graduate school preparation. </li><li>Direct student research projects. </li><li>Participate in committees as assigned, attend school and program meetings. </li><li>Participate in recruitment activities and new student orientations. </li><li>There is no faculty advising load.
